I live in apartments. My building has four units. Im in between two people, who both got dogs the same time. At first they kept up on it...This weekend I was very frustrated that they had left so much dog poop outside. And no clue on who's it is. They are related by marriage, so its unsure when one blames the other. The girl my age Ive said something to about the poop in the past - She said her dog rarely goes out. (which I belive cuz I the dog never comes out, and she has compalined about cleaning up after the dog) The lady (girl dads, wife) She has blunted stated that the poop out side is not hers...But she lets her dog go out all the time, alone sometimes.....
I dont wanna call the manager...They will know its me probably...How should I go about this? (Other than picking up the poop and dividing it up evenly and leaving at their doorstep, LMAO!)

Don't you clean it up!

You have a good heart and are considerate of others, but they are too careless and disrespectful to you.

If you connect with the manager, you can explain without a temper or anger. This will get your point across and the "poop" removed on a regular basis. That's all you really want anyway, right?

The outside of an apartment complex is a common area which is for ALL to use and leave it usable for others. If your complex has more than one building it could be from one of them.
In any case in your rent your are paying to use the common area and if it's full of dog stools you can't safely use it. Some diseases it can be transmitted from dog to dog through the stools left behind.
Next time the lady lets her dog out on it's own I would call the manager just because if somebody was to get bit in the common area the complex could get sued. Most states have a law where the dog is suppose to be under the owners control at ALL times not just when it's convenient for the owner. It is also that way to protect the safety of the dog itself.
I think you should tell the manager. Unless you want to stay couped up in your apartment all summer.

How annoying is this? Unfortunately you can't blame one or the other or both until you have solid evidence; anyway to explain the problem to management and have management set out signs and cameras indicating that the premises will be observed for the safety of the residents; if they happen to catch "the drop" in action, well, there's proof and you don't have to get "involved."

The lady upstairs in my apartment building has a HUGE dog (that makes huge piles of poop). She never cleaned up after her dog, and on warm days when we want to open the windows, the smell of the dog poop wafts in and it's disgusting. It's especially bad in the morning when the grass is damp/dewey (you know the smell I'm talking about). I started scooping up her dog's poop once a day and putting it in a grocery store (plastic) bag, tieing the handles together and hanging it from her door knob. I don't know if she's cleaning up after her dog now or not, but at least she's taking it somewhere else to poop!

If you don't want to leave it on her doorknob/doorstep, check to see if she locks her car, and if it's open, put it on her seat.

there's a few things you can do:
1. leave a note in the building hallway bolded and big lettering stating "PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER DOG, MANAGAMENT WILL BE NOTIFIED ABOUT TENANTS WHO DO NOT DO SO"
2. Contact management and let them know about the two apartments specifically, let them know what you have observed. Encourage them to speak to the tenants and send letters
3. If you keep seeing it then take a picture of the dog doing his business and call the police, they will speak to the owners of the dogs and possibly ticket them for not curbing their dog.
4. do not let the matter rest, its not only unsanitary but disgusting to not clean up after dog and inconsiderate to you as u might step in it and be inconvienced.
good luck!

You gotta call the manager. You've already confronted her about this and she clearly doesn't respect your wishes for a poop-free yard. Time to take it up a notch. Call the Board of Health on her too.

Call the manager so what if they know it is you, they should be cleaning up as it comes out not leave it for you to see and smell.

You have to call the apartment manager. That's the only way to get something done.

I pay attention ya loud and sparkling, i'm no longer from uk i'm distant places yet I actual have a similar challenge, human beings in simple terms permit their canines poo and shop pooing on my front backyard. What I actual have finished so some distance is to apply the scooper I actual have for my very own canines that are contained in my decrease back backyard i might upload and place it perfect out the front in a pile the place it won't be able to be missed. My next step is to place a pair of domestic dog poo luggage out the front and positioned a demonstration on a wood stake interior the floor that asserts, please be happy to apply those luggage to your canines poo. If that fails i visit arise early which in simple terms isn't a challenge and seize the guy who helps their canines to poo on my backyard and confront them outright and say I freshen up my canines poo as quickly as I walk him, come freshen up yours. in the event that they nonetheless proceed then i'm going to take a image of them and their canines doing the poo then ***** to my council for the poo it relatively is accumulated in a huge pile on my front backyard alongside with the image of the canines and proprietor and enable them to stay with it up. As canines poo is an environmental danger in recent times i'm confident me leaping up and down approximately it is going to create some sort of reaction.
