Sure! But check the type of flooring. Since rabbits have big feet the flooring of their cages does not need to be anything special. However, since guinea pigs have smaller feet, you need to make sure they cannot get them stuck in largely spaced wiring. If there are large wires you can use some extra bedding, or something called "magic mats" to help protect their feet.

:-)

As long as the rabbit hutch has everything a guinea pig needs, (food, water, place to hide, etc) it can certainly live in a rabbit hutch. Get a book on guinea pigs to see if the hutch is the right size.

I agree with Memphis and Justified, you should really check out http://www.guineapigcages.com. They really know what they're talking about when it comes to an enclosure for your guinea pig. Plus, they're cheaper and easier to clean than a big old hutch. I've noticed that most rabbit hutches are kept outdoors, and I just want to mention that that is simply not an option for a guinea pig. They really should live indoors because they can commonly catch URI, or upper respiratory infections.

Yes, they can as long as it doesn't have wire flooring. However, a C&C cage would be a much better alternative. Visit http://www.guineapigcages.com/ for information on how to build one of these cages. They are easy to clean & provide the space the piggie needs.

Never put a guinea pig in the same cage with a rabbit.

Good luck!

yeah sure! just make sure that you thourouly wash the rabbit hutch first, to remove all rabbit smells. Male rabbits mark their territory with a special urine and with a gland located directly under their chin. So, if you just put your guniea pig in there, he's going to feel like he's invading someone else's territory. but, other than that, go for it!

If it is big enough. One pig needs 7.5 sq ft. thats 30" x36" . Make sure there is no wire flooring. A pig cannot live with a rabbit either. It is very dangerous to your pig. You can build a big, cheap cage that your pigs will love. Go to http://cavycgaes.com to learn how!

of course they can as long as it is off the ground because smaller animals become the target or prey of snakes so just keep an eye on it . good luck .
