I've been doing some reading, and it seems that the disciples were hard-pressed to agree with each other, never mind having a really hard time grasping Jesus' message. How do you know?

Then you must repent your sins.THAT means you must admit you are fallible .THEN the holy ghost will come onto, or unto you .THEN you will know the truth ,and the truth shall set you free.There is no fear in truth.The day that you know JESUS and the TRUTH nobody will ever change your mind point

"You are Peter, and upon this Rock, I will build My Church and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it." Matthew 18:18

In founding His Church with Peter, Jesus surely provided instruction. Yeah, there was some in-fighting right from the start (people are only human, after all), but by sticking with Peter, we know we're at least on the right track.

To be frank, there are only two Churches that can trace their heritage all the way back to Peter: Eastern Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism. Most protestant churches were founded in moden times by people who have visions of what worship should be, and most of them are authentic in their focus and desire to worship the Lord. However, the ones who have completely rejected historic Christianity and are trying to do a "new thing" are basically just guessing what Jesus would have wanted. EO and RC have the advantage of Peter as the first leader and then a series of successors who are committed to holding true to the historic understanding of Christian worship.

What? You clearly have no idea what you were reading;
of course the disciples, being human beings, had questions and also disagreements - thats only natural - but what is
written in Scriptures is the emphatic Word of God, and that is "how we know". He wants love and companionship;
He demands respect, just as any Father should and would of His children. We are the family of God, the true family of God, and we do not want anything or anyone who offends
the family, including our Father, in the Eternity. This is why we are here in the flesh - to allow each soul to show their true colors so as to weed them out and be done with them.
Nothing that offends will remain. Every single thing a soul does or says while in the flesh is being recorded for the judgement. Any person who thinks they are getting away with something is very sadly mistaken. You know the old saying;
"give 'em enough rope and they'll hang themselves" -
today we can see lots and lots of folks with that proverbial
noose around their necks. Sad, but its what they want.

It seemed that Jesus wanted worshippers who were sincere (hard to miss that one), and he wanted people who were willing to follow the commands of Jesus even to the point that it cost them their lives. Seems simple enough to understand. All honest mistakes are apparently forgiven.

=================
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet,"and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
~Romans 13:8-9 (NIV)

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
~Matthew 22:34-40 (NIV)

After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. "Are you so dull?" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")

He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' "
~Mark 7:17-23 (NIV)

We have the Holy Spirit, which the people in the bible didn't till pentecost.

The disciples had a hard time letting go of wordly battles and kingdoms. They were so ready for a world kingdom. I think it is sound teaching for us to realize that our battle isn't here on earth..we are setting up anything here...

we have to learn why they didn't agree, and if they didn't was it two points of the same priniciple how did they handle it? did they grow? all examples for us today.

The disciples had a hard time agreeing because they were all from different backgrounds.
The way I worship is I celebrate the life of Christ, his birth, his teachings, and his death. And I give thanks for those.

Well the bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16,17 "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,  that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work" Being that we are imperfect humans god had to leave something for us to follow...since he is the god of love he is sure not to leave us in the dark and makes a way for us to draw close to him and follow his commandments.We use the bible and follow the commandments in the bible that is how we know were worshipping god the way we are supposed to.

I'm not a Christian - far from it - but I'd like to point out that the easiest way to know if your method of worship is pleasing to Jesus or any god would simply be to ask; and, when no 'bona fied' reply is recognized, either change your method of worship, (and be resolved to fruitlessly try, try and try again,) or give up the time-wasting practice all together.

most Christians are NOT following Jesus at all.

eg. When the rich guy asked Jesus how he could asure him getting into heaven, Jesus said "Sell ALL that you own and give the money to the poor."

you will note that he said sell ALL you own - not "SOME" ... so basicially Jesus is saying ANY wealth is bad.. yet how many Christians live modest lives?? work for minimum wage?? etc....

There is no set pattern or ritual to worshipping. You worship as the Spirit leads you.
