I only have copy 4 and I need to get copy 1 which has my re-entry code. Where can I obtain an original copy of my DD214?
I tried the city records where I lived and they only had copy 4 as well. Any help would be nice, thanks.

The VA. Go to www.va.gov. Only PAGE 4 is public record. PAGE 1 is only given to you. There are actually 8 PAGES of your DD 214 that get distributed to a variety of different government agencies.

You need to go online and get a copy of the SF 180 and fill it out fully. Send it to the appropriate custodian of your particular records. The link below should give you all the information you will need. It worked for me.
