Fruit...but one should always have time for breakfast..it is estimated that a students marks can be 20% different with a nutritious breakfast...it does not take much to have that bowl of fruit and a healthy cereal..try getting out of bed 15 minuites earlier and you will be surprised how much better your day can and will be..if you are going to go for cereal bars, buy them at a health or outdoor, climbing and camping, food store as these are food replacements and not deviously disguised candy as most grocer bars are....my daughter had a teacher who once told me he cringed when he saw a student coming into school eating a bag of chips or a chocolate bar because he knew that student would be a problem...eating breakfast is a routine that once you get into it you will enjoy the benefits the rest of your life....my children were always made to get up early enough to shower and eat a healthy breakfast; now, neither will even consider leaving the house without food...oh, it is also proven that obese people as a whole do not eat breakfast; hence the reason they eat so much junk the rest of the day...

How about a smoothie, they are quick and depending on what you put in them you can have a very nutritious breakfast on the run.
Easy healthy smoothie recipe:
1 serving whey powder
1 serving fruit (1/2 banana or a handful of berries are perfect)
1 container yogurt (lite if you are watching your weight)
8 ounces pure water.
Whirl in a blender and you are ready to go.
If you like you can also add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, which tastes wonderful with chocolate whey powder.
I also add 1/2 cooked plain oatmeal (I cook it at night, make a few servings and then just keep it in the fridge. This way I can add it in the morning without spending time cooking it or worrying about the heat).
The above smoothie will give you protein, vitamins, minerals including a good amount of calcium, anti-oxidants and will be fairly low calorie (under 200) so you can also have one later on with different fruit as a snack without breaking your calorie bank.
This smoothie is a much better alternative than breakfast bars which as filled with sugar and are high in calories. Also the fruit and whey powder will keep your energy high for quite a while.

Well they say Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I am sure cereal bars are OK, but you could wake yourself up like 15 minutes earlier than normal to give yourself time to eat breakfast.

Cook up some hardboiled eggs and keep them handy in the fridge!!! Even if you don't like the yolk, eat just the whites and it's a great source of protein. Follow with a green apple and that will keep you full til lunch! Both are quite portable and very healthy.

There are powdered drinks made for that purpose. You could drink your meal replacement breakfast, and grab a piece of fruit and eat it on the way to wherever you are going.

1 Cup of Oats with one cup of milk and a low fat cheese slice: Microwave for 180 seconds.
Fry up 2 cups of egg whites and mix in to oats.
Wash pan while cooling, and eat.
5 minutes and you're sorted!
Everyone has 5 minutes in the morning, and this will keep you going as long as you like!

cereal bars can contain some nasty stuff as well as healthy, depends what one it is. fruit is your best bet! bananas will give you enough energy to last until lunch and they take about 10 seconds to eat... quick enough :)?

Fruit is better, cereal bars are full of sugar and not as healthy as they are made out to be.
