When you capitalize it, generally you are referring to a monotheistic concept. I think it is at least possible that all the various gods and goddesses we have known throughout history are parts or manifestations of The One. But that One is too abstract and unknowable for most humans, so we developed images and stories of various gods and goddesses. Even the Christians, who claim monotheism, started the whole idea of saints, especially Mary (what is it to be the Mother of God, after all, except a Goddess?) as a way to develop a human interface, if you will. We polytheists use not only human interface images, but non-human ones: see the early Egyptian, the Native American and the Hindu ones, for examples.
I could never warm up to God as a father when my Methodist Sunday school teacher mother was trying to persuade me, because my own father was such a poor specimen. She used to say things like "Well, your heavenly Father is much more loving and kind," but then she'd talk about Hell and punishment, and it just came all unglued.
So, a happy pagan am I!

I believe God is my Father who guides me through life. He is my true Father that I look up to and pray to. If I didn't have faith in My Father I would have been dead a long time ago.

God makes as much sense as me saying there is a big yellow blob in the centre of the earth and we should worship it. If anyone doubts, I will just say "You must have faith".
Now, seriously, why should you "have faith" just because some other human invents something and tells you to worship it? You can't see the big blob and you can't see God, so why believe either?

I believe God is Supreme. He is the One above All, my father and best friend. I would feel alone without him, even though I'm not. I value his guidance.

Raw,
Dan is correct. GOD is our creator, our FATHER. HIS SON can be our brother if we choose to read, study, and obey the New Testament each and every day for the remainder of our lives. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,

That is because it is God alone Who is the True God, and whatever they call upon beside Him is false, and because it is God alone Who is the Most High, the Incomparably Great.
