Strong...used for moderate to sever pain. But there are more potent painkillers on the market. One is Didlauid; used for cancer patients. Oh, and the correct spelling is Oxycontin.

For me, it has been a godsend. It takes care of the pain and lasts 12 hours, which is especially helpful for me because when I was taking immediate release painkillers, the pain would wake me in the middle of the nigth when they wore off. Now I am sleeping through the night with no problem. I have a OxyFast solution for breakthrough pain if I need it, but if taken correctrly, it is very effective and you will not besome addicted as long as you take it as prescribed. You will become dependant, which is totally different. Addiction is a behavioral issue, not a physical one, whereas dependance is physical.

It is one of the top painkillers. Be careful if taking, highly addictive. Also painkillers over time eat away at your liver.
