They say that your concept of a trinity is rooted in Pagan beliefs, as is your Jesus. They say that your version of god is blasphemous, and nowhere even close to what God actually is. Jews even say that there is no intermediary between man and God, and that it's okay for others to believe in other Gods, because God gave the Gentiles all manner of things to worship. They say that all righteous souls go to heaven eventually, without the belief in Jesus, that includes Jews and Gentiles alike. They've been doing this for centuries BEFORE your 'messiah' was even thought of, and they say that your 'messiah' doesn't fit the job description for the actual messiah. Not only does he not fit the description, but he also didn't do what the mashi'ah was supposed to do. They say you pretty much have a Judaism, Mitrhaism, Paganism mashup of a religion, and prove it with the actual Hebrew bible (that didn't have any Greek or Aramic writers).

Most Christians do not realize this, they think Judaism is just Christianity without Jesus. They are mostly unaware of the vast differences between the faiths.

those that are aware explain it away with nonsense such as G-d intentionally blinding us or even worse thinking they understand the Hebrew scriptures better then we do (despite the fact that almost none of them can read Hebrew).

I love it when people talk about embracing the scriptures or the meaning of faith or the son of God Jesus .
If the Jews are the old testament then they should be stoning people to death still to this day and have dozens of slave servants and workers as well as whores .
They should strike down those who oppose them with the sword before their families and enslave the children and make whores of the women .
The old testament is a great social plan for all to embrace .
Our population would be a third of what it is today if we followed religious text and teaching .

Agnostic/Atheist. I do attend a christian church, they're very worrying those that prepare the affection of neighbor that Jesus taught. they're my relatives and settle for that i do no longer do dogma. I actual have started being raised catholic, substitute into as quickly as baptized Pentecostal, went by Buddhism and local American spirituality. So i've got exceedingly lots run the gamut. Even for many of my christian walk, i might desire to in no way believe that a "loving" god might do the "one lifetime, pass/fail" equipment for heaven or hell. Reincarnation made a superb purchase greater sense to me. found out that reincarnation does not require any supernatural entity, nor does ethical/ethical habit. And the Universe does not require a supernatural author, the two. do no longer understand for confident what substitute into till now the vast Bang, yet there is lots we don't comprehend with regard to the Universe as yet. yet we do comprehend that it runs somewhat exact with none supernatural entity that may not be able to be shown interior the 1st place. I do believe there's a "larger ability", even if it relatively is a very organic one. reward on your journey!

Judaism before monotheism was very pagan

I think Egypt's influence with Moses being trained as a prince in courts of a pharoah during same time as the rogue pharoh Ankenaten and his Sun god also influenced the Hebrews and the war of the gods was "on"

Mt Carmel Elijah and prophets of Baal story shows the transition form Baal as god to Yahweh as god, with Ashtoreth remaining as the female divinity, the prophets of Ba'al being slaughtered in the end

Well, i'm not sure how i feel, i disagree, thats for sure, other than that...

Well If they read the Bible (and i mean the Tora, their Biblie), they'll find out that Jesus fit the description of the Messiah like a glove. I wouldn't have the theological background to counter the trinity argument, still in Genesis God is speaking: "Let us make man in our image" Who is this "us" if there is no trinity?

Well thats about it, Jewish people are very nice people (all the ones i know personally at least) and i most certanly don't hold a grudge against them for disagreeing, they have the right to...

This is nothing new. We have said for the past two thousand years something similar about the Jews, so they say it back to us.

Why? What are we supposed to feel? Did you just now realize that Orthodox Judaism is not the same religion as Christianity? We knew that.

Thankyou for the link...I shall look into it quite carefully, 1st checking out the Rabbi in question whom is the main source of that site....

One must remember, that just because a person states they are associated with or IS a certain Faith, there will be False Teachers and False Prophets among them..."even among the very elite".

Personally, my FIRST association of my Faith began with my Father God....and will end with my Father God.....however, He was the one whom introduced me to His Son Jesus and of the Holy Spirit, and in my life, with the Holy Spirit and Jesus added, I cannot discount the many miracles and blessings as "imagination"...lol....I have plenty of imagination, but I alone am not that gifted to be able to heal another by my imagination.

Peace be with you :)

Sadly, many of today’s Jews profess godliness but don’t embrace the Scriptures as we presume they do. Therefore, it is often difficult to reason with them about Jesus being the Messiah. This is why it is imperative to ask a Jew if he has kept the Law of Moses—to "shut" him up under the Law (Galatians 3:23) and strip him of his self- righteousness. The Law will show him his need of a Savior and become a "schoolmaster" to bring him to Christ (Galatians 3:24), as happened to Paul, Nicodemus, and Nathaniel. It was the Law that brought 3,000 Jews to the foot of the cross on the Day of Pentecost. Without it they would not have known that they had sinned (Romans 7:7), and therefore would not have seen their need of the Savior. See Luke 18:20 footnote for how to use the Law in evangelism.

i'm not too concerned really, like somebody already said, people always criticise the beliefs of others because they disagree.

all im going to say on the matter is that Jesus was a Rabbi, he knew scripture inside out and his teachings have been on the money...so i have no problem basing my faith on his teachings and believing that he is my saviour.

there are loads of prophecies Jesus fulfilled and the chances of any guy doing that are very very slim!
