Christianity is not a disease, it is a belief system that explains the Universe in a certain way. The way Christianity explains the Universe may be old, archaic, inaccurate, or whatever, but it does serve a purpose for those that want to believe in it. People should be allowed to believe anything they like as long as it doesn't interfere with the rights of other people to believe, or not believe, what they want to.

religion is like the plague of vampire insects who need fresh blood and availability to survive
remove the gullibility and fear factor based on info restraints, and your need to allow bloodsuckers to feed off of you and you support them with "love offerings" vanishes
it is like a plague or an epidemic, the stupidity spreads and self validates by calling reality a lie and religion the truth
