She only has 2 teeth she got them at 11 months..... I've read from some old question 12 months and some say 3 years....

I would ask your pediatrician what he/she recommends. My pediatrician (as well as my dentist) said to wait until my daughter was 3. At that time, they are mature enough to sit still in the dentist chair and understand what is going on. Of course, if there is a dental problem (like your child is in an accident and hurts his mouth) or your child has other dental issues, you should go sooner.

I asked my dentist at my cleaning back in Jan. and he said they see kids at for the first time at 3 or 4 years old. That surprised me, seems like a long time to go before you see the dentist for the first time.

My little one is coming with me next week - he's 16 months. The dentist will let him have a ride in the chair, and a poke around at everything in the surgery and will TRY to count his teeth!! I'm having a scale and polish so he will see that.

Every book I have read has said by one year. If she's only got two teeth and they appear to be alright then I wouldn't worry about it. I just took my fourteen month old son recently because he somehow chipped his tooth. He's got eight teeth and I would of taken him anyway.

12 Months or more than 5top/5bottom Teeth, whichever is first, then every year.

a year old is what pediatricians recommend! I took both of mine then and they both have got beautiful teeth.Its ok if she only has two teeth they will still see her.Good Luck!

Everybody says something different even the pediatricians and the dentists.Do what you think is best no one knows your child better than you!!

1 year she should have her first dental visit. Then, every year after that.
