I went from a 34DD to a 34C. The surgery was drastic (they had to reshape the nipples and everything), and I'm left with scars that resemble anchors on each breast. I'm now 24 years old, and while the scars have been fading over time, I'd like to know if laser surgery may be an option to persue. Anyone in the same boat?

things that might help you are:

1-silicon sticks
2-brightening formulas containing PHA or AHA
3-laser scar removal
4-a mini surgery called scar remission

I would talk to a dermatoligist who was familure with different skin types.

Too many people think what will work on Caucasian skin will work with African skin... just not so.

I know my skin keeps scars. And when a doc says... it will fade in time.... 38 years later you can still see it.

But the question requires more info. Sometimes scar reduction treatment can happen right after the scar occurs.

I knew someone who had reconsrution surgery that had to go back after a few years and remove the scar tissue...than used treatments after that to lessen the scar.

Anchor scars...anyone in the same boat...kinda punny!!

I am a guy, so obviously, I am not in your same boat (still slappin' the knee at the unintended pun), but my advice would be to see a reputable plastic surgeon. Your first step would be to talk to your family doctor about it.

Good Luck.

I used Mederma and Scarguard on my scars and they are hardly noticeable.

You could always try the scarguard lightener solution first. If that fails then you could look up the laser procedure.
