There is a website called translation2 and it will translate most text for you

Forget it! I've tried babelfish from altavista, which is free. I have also tried Babylon on subscription - I won't be renewing it this year.
Google offers a 'translate this text' service which will give you an approximation of a foreign language text, but in general most translation programmes are not to be trusted.
