biggest asset to defending our liberty is free speech
I belive the internet is a great asset if the goverment leaves it alone
i belive we should all be intitled to the truth that would be a great asset for liberty because if everyone really new the truth then everyone would be free to make there own decisions.but while they hold back the truth and give us only what they want us to hear they will be controlling us only when they have the balls to stand back and say this is what it is we will be free but they will never do that because that is the control they have over us.
Biggest liability would be misimformation from goverment and respected sources totalian police state
I think people would be inclined to except this people in power would be satisfied because they could abuse power with ease people would just go along to get along intill its to late and by that time everyone will be to scared to speek out.So if people dont wake up to whats going and dont stand up will be in big trouble.

I agree totally with Peter A. on this. First off, our freedom of speech. When that goes away, the only thing standing in the way of tyranny is our 2nd Amendment, the Right to bear arms. Which, says will never be infringed. That's why I'm stocking up on ammo now, for if this great country becomes a martial law police state(which I'm seeing becoming a reality every day), and they call that everyone turn in their guns. I'm not giving in without putting up a fight.

The examples you gave are parts of The American Dream, presently our military is our biggest asset to achieving the American dream. The high price we are paying for oil even affects the cost of infants baby bottles, it adds to our debt and effects our ability to pay our mortgages and the cost of quality education for our children. Contrary to popular belief our government is not our biggest liability but our high crime rate, illegal aliens and the big powerful corporations are becoming one in the same, each dependent on the other for existence.

Freedom of suffrage is the greatest freedom because if right leaders are elected, the government will be able to serve the people and work for their welfare especially the protection of rights.
