Isnt it a little cheesy to tell a woman on a date that you like how she looks? She probably hears the same thing on every date she's ever been on.
So I was just wondering if women really like it when a guy compliments them like that? or does she just blow it off as just something typical that guys say...

This might be useful to you considering all my life I've considered myself anti-romance because I thought it was cheesy.
It turns out that it's very much appreciated to get compliments. I've been in a relationship for 2 years and a half with no compliments whatsoever because I always thought they were corny. Well, maybe the first week he told me I was pretty but that's about it.
We started our relationship knowing that we both found romance really corny, and now I'm begging to have some of that but it just doesn't come natural to him. And when it's forced it really shows and it's even worse... so make sure that you mean it and that it comes natural to you.
We ALL like compliments. Even if we say we don't. Don't you like compliments?

Absolutely. Even the headstrong feministas. But in this era, people aren't taught how to properly state a compliment, so unfortunately it tends to come out awkward/ rude and creepy most times.

oh absolutely. We eat them right up. I favor guys who are liberal with the compliments to guys who already take it for granted that i know it and do not bother complimenting me

In my opinion i will not like to be complimented more but we like when a person show us that they like us or love us by their deeds and not by there words
but if it is true feeling that you are saying then she will feel it as well
