There seems to be a darkness surrounding me; yet sometimes a see a glimps of something differant; of what it could be like to be happy. i sometimes feel as if there is someone sitting there with me; although nothing is said s/he seems to be saying, " It's going to be OK, don't worry, i'm here for you.
i don't know who this is, but i feel the words in my heart. Could this be an angel?

I'm sure that's what it is. They hover very close when you are having a hard time. You're lucky to sense them so clearly. Try to communicate more with them and I bet you'll feel better very soon. For example, you can ask them to help to dissolve your sorrow.

What you experienced could be a many number of things. It could be a spirit guide or a Guardian Angel. Whatever you feel rings true for you. but on the other hand, the pure fact that you are thinking of a Guardian Angel may just mean that you are communicating with yours?
I personally am not too sure if I have met my Guardian Angel, but I do believe that he is there waiting in the wings so to speak until I am ready to communicate with him. I do have a few spirit guides and have dreamed of or maybe I was meditating of Archangel Raphael to open my heart centre.
so basically yes i like to believe that there are, although i do get negative sometimes and say that they aren't real when i am feeling down and stuff.
Who knows at the end of the day it is for the individual to decided as to what they believe and how they live their life.

God assigned an Angel to each one of us. The Angel is with us all the time, and watches over us, and also goes back and tells everything we do. It could also be Jesus, Hes with us all the time. He did say that he would never leave us. I would believe it to be Jesus befor I would anyone or anything else. But that is just what I think. The morning that I was saved, You know I was praying and sobbing and asking Jesus, I guess about everything. But when I was finished,before I got my head up and turned I heard a voice, a mans voice, very plainly spoken, say "I will always be with you"! And out of the corner of my eye I saw a shadow. I knew it was Jesus, I just didn't look up quick enough. But I wasn't expecting anything like that either. I would think it was Jesus there with me. Ask him if it is him, tell him to reveal himself to you, and tell him if its not him and something bad, to make it leave. If its him, he won't reveal himself so you can see him, but he will let you know in another way. He will make sure you know one way or the other.

Biblically, angels are for real. There are a number of instances of them turning up, most particularly visiting Lot before the destruction of Sodom and Gamorrah, as well as urging Hagar to turn back to Abraham when she tried to run away from Sarah's bullying. We also have reports from 2 Gospel writers, Matthew and Luke, about the appearance of angels.
It is not just in the Judaeo-Christian tradition either that we find references to these otherworldly creatures. In the history of Islam, it is said that the angel Jibreel visited the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in a cave on many occasions, revealing to him the words of Allah which eventually were written and form the canon of the Qur'an. Also, when Muslims pray, they always acknowledge the angels that watch over them by looking over their left and right shoulders. The angel on your left writes down your bad deeds whilst the angel on your right writes down the good. You should therefore always acknowledge the angel on your right first.
With the majority of theists in the world believing and reading about angelic beings, it seems strange NOT to believe in angels.

I have had many,many similar experiences. I usually feel someone sitting on the bed next to me as im drifting off. Sometimes when im worried or sick i feel a reassuring pat on my back as if it means, "Dont worry,everything will be ok" just like you said. It truly is a beautiful feeling and nothing to worry about. If you feel a presence and you have something on your mind then say it out loud. You'll be amazed at the results.

Yes there is. There are angels of God and there are the demons(fallen angels) Darkness sorounding you sounds demonic, angels of darkness. God's angles are light. I am a christian and on th 19thof may this year I saw one of God's angels in bright colours and he was looking down at me. He had short blond hair and was standing on the right hand side of my bed. He left after about 5-10 seconds. I have asked God to surround by bed with his angles while I sleep becasue I have been getting demonically atacked at night. I woke up at 8am and saw one of God's angel. I felt peace, even though he was looking at me and did not say anything to me.

There are holy angels but there are also fallen angels, 1/3rd of the angels rebelled against Gods authority with Satan and were thrown out of Heaven. These are referred to as demons.
If you feel a presence call out to Jesus to protect you.

Angels r there. Some with worldly bodies, some without it, some are beings of light.
They may provide protection and help beings at various levels of existence.

Yes, their are Angels, If their is darkness, their has to be light somewhere, Angels protect us by order of God but if you don't have God in your life, then you are not his child but you are of the devil, Angels are real, many experiences that people are are so identical that its hard to disprove them :D God bless

Yes there are true Angels, some walk amongst us and some guard us. Some wait for us to guide us.
Only those naive to this are ignorant of their existence.
