Personally my favourite was seeing Muhammad Ali beat Floyd Patterson (though I loved all his fights with Frazier also)

Floyd Patterson should have stayed at Lt. Heavyweight - would we have ever heard of Bob Foster if he had? Floyd's two 1st round KO losses to Liston should have told him something.

That said, my favorite for this week is Marvin Hagler vs. John "The Beast" Mugabi. Two great warriors going toe to toe at center ring for 10 rounds - just pounding the crap out of each other!

Watching Buster Douglas put an end to the Tyson myth was also extremely satisfying.

As a kid I loved watching Ken Norton beat Ali - just to be robbed of the decisions by Don King's hand- picked judges.

For pure action in a short period of time, I would have to say Hagler-Hearns. The Tyson-Douglas was probably the greatest upset in boxing....good to see Mike get his a** kicked! Also, any fight with Ali was usually good.

Thrilla in Manila. Ali and Frazier gave it their all under the most cruel and excruciating circumstances. Twas the most brutal heavyweight fight in history.
