I know these might be dumb questions, but I am new to bass fishing and I don't know much. Thanks in advance.

Boiling means there rising to the top and feeding, fishing in the beds means thee lying in the weeds and are still, these might even be considered spawning beds in the spring

The answers ahead of me are pretty close. But when Bass are "boiling" refers to them hitting the surface of the water to feed. This usually occurs on calm mornings when the lake is like glass. They'll skim the surface looking for insects or whatever else to eat.
"Fishing the beds" has a couple different meanings. Bass prefer weed beds, because that's where their food lives. It can also mean the spawning beds, although in most states the Bass seasons open after the spawn. Bass have been known to spawn most of the summer, however, so if you fish a clear lake, look for about 1 foot diameter sand impressions and most likely those are the spawn beds.
No matter what, you won't catch if you don't cast. Good Luck!

This is not a stupid question. When male Bass on or over breeding beds have a tendency to swirl the water just under the surface of the water usually in tight circles. This is meant as a territorial gesture after the male fertilizes the eggs and keeps the other male Bass away from the beds.It also is to intimidate preditors that may want the eggs during the actually spawning process.Pretty common actually.Good Luck!
