G'day Tinkerbell. Peanut butter is popular in Sydney, but vegemite much preffered.

I'm an Aussie - we love vegemite down under but I would say peanut butter comes a close second although we don't eat ours with jelly (jam) as much here. Our best peanut butters are made by Dick Smith (super crunchy) who is a great Australian who donates a lot of money to charity and Kraft (crunchy) which has sadly gone to USA to be produced.

No but in Fiji I met some Australians and we traded pb&j for vegemite, took one bite each and traded right back. The next year in Australia, I found the same to be true, but couldn't even find peanut butter. I'm from NW USA.

I live in Evansville, Indiana and I love peanut butter but I get the natural stuff and eat a tablespoon of it everyday-monosaturates.
