The reason I did this exercise (think it's called kegels or something) was to strengthen my muscles "down there". But now lately I find myself unsuccessful. What I mean by unsuccessful is that once the urine flow starts, contracting the muscles barely stops the flow. What would be the reason for the sudden inability to stop the flow? There's no discomfort and I am 100 percent positive I don't have an infection or anything like that, say, in my bladder, that could cause this weakening. I am a virgin.

I'm not on any medications. Also, I didn't mean stop the flow and not empty my bladder - I know that's unhealthy! I meant - stop the flow for a few seconds and then let it go again.

you say you are virgin. and you have mastered the kegel exercise for what ??? for future.

so you vaginal muscles have been waitng some challenge of Penis meeting and at last have given up the hope of meeting the challenge of a warrior . so do not worry now the technique is good but you have to do sex then you will have test of your kegel exercise. and urination will be controlled.

I would talk to your doctor, you never know what the problem could be. I just recently started doing those kegel exercise's and I haven't had any problems from that. It could be a bladder problem and I would go and get that checked out just in case.

It is important to urinate fully. Stopping the flow does not allow the flushing of the toxins. It is bad for the bladder.

Some medications I have had to take have caused problems with urine control.
