It's a better tune than Advance Australia Fair, but I dont think we should change it.

Best leave history how it is.

Well I not from Australia but I remember the song "waltzing Matilda" from the Movie On the Beach all about the radiation getting to Australia last. Sort of cool that the song is the National Anthem then.

Who needs formal; dare to be different (?) - I'm totally for it and I'll learn all of the words too (I learnt the words to Advance Australia Fair, at school, but have never agreed with the song being our national anthem. We NEED change!!!)!

I dont think so ,we should keep Advance Australia Fair but change the tune to more modern sounding because the words are nice just not the tune :)

I think it's pointless and wrong. It's part of our history and we should be proud of it, but it's not relevant today, some people don't even understand it, it's not celebratory of Australia and it's not an anthem.

i dont like that idea its about a thief who killed himself not national anthem material
they did have a vote on it many years when we had god save our queen and it was one of the choices
