I myself, was dissapointed.
Yes, I'm a Death Note fan.. But I was really upset.
Light was too smart for Near, and Mikami should have known better than to kill Takada without the consent of Light! And why did Mikami commit suicide? Was it because he realized Kira wasn't justice?
And Misa... Misa might have been stupid, but why the suicide?
I was also upset with how Ryuk was the one to kill Light.. It would have been better, in my opinion, if Matsuda had been the one to, or maybe even Mikami.
Also. Was it just me, or in the last episode, when Light was running bleeding severely into th city, why weren't people looking at him? I saw atleast one person walk by him, with not so much as a glance! I dunno.
What did you think?

Light is very smart, but the dramatic tension in the series involved him almost getting caught several times, so he had to either do something a little stupid, or get unlucky, several times.

Very early on, Ryuk said that he'd write Light's name in his book eventually, so that wasn't too much of a surprise to me.

I think the anime ending is much better than the original of the manga, the anime ending is less humiliating for Light and the person that was walking where Light was running was him self, and I don't think Misa commit suicide. You should watch the episode one more time and I don't know if you know about an special episode that will explain what happen to those that survive like mastsuda, neat ect. that episdoe will no be air regular like the other episodes check this website

I am an avid fan of Death Note myself.. the 1st episodes were really very captivating.. I was like glued to my seats, and awaited for every episode each week..

Sad to say, i was disappointed on the ending.. Let's just say, I expected too much, and it did not exceed my expectation.. I expected a better ending, a much more eye-widening, jaw-breaking twist.. The anime had a whole lot of episodes which were just very amazing, it raced my heart every time I watch it, which I did not feel when Near revealed the twist in the plot

In short, the twist on the ending episode was a bit weak compared to all the twists that had happened on the other episodes.. but all in all, i love Death Note, and I recommend it to everyone!

i think of it substitute into greater effective that it stayed lifelike, because of the fact finally his becoming God might have been impossible, if no longer something yet because of the fact as quickly as human beings knew his call, as quickly as yet another demise observe fell into somebody's arms that knew who the unique 'kira' substitute into and had to take him out, he might have been killed besides I cherished that he died interior the tip, because of the fact in any different case it does not have been a very final ending - you will possibly have been left to ask your self, 'what might society be like under mild's rule?' and stuff like who might surpass him and how? i think of the mangaka had to pass onto a sparkling paintings additionally, and did no longer want to be constantly introduced decrease back to demise observe (the manga ended a similar way, so as that's why I say that) oh and btw, 'relatively' and 'defiantly' have somewhat diverse meanings :D

Personally, the way the anime turned out, I didn't really like it (a lot). I thought the manga was a whole lot better.

But the ending wasn't really that good, I thought that it was really pretty stupid. Compared to the manga thought, I thought it was better.
