I'm 22 years old and used to have facial hair like mustache and etc; people would think that I'm like in my 30s. But, when I shave my facial hair and sometimes shave my head they think that I'm like 17 or 18 years old.

It sux most of the time when I go to a liquor store and people look at me very suspicious and ask for my drivers license and look at my ID for like 2 minutes. Even though I been buying alcohol there like forever.
Would you guys rather look older or younger?

I'm 30 years old. When I was 29, people thought I looked younger. Maybe it's because of the way I care for myself. Maybe it's genetics. Maybe it was both. When I was under 21, I didn't get carded much, I think it was because I acted maturely and looked older. Also, being six feet tall and thin, I would make sure I got the male bartender (and I knew how to flirt, skills that after altered, have been well used elsewhere in life).

After turning 21, there have only been a few times when I wished I wouldn't be carded. That was when I would walk to the grocery store and decide on a whim to buy a bottle of wine or some beer and didn't have my license with me. Also, there were some times when my husband and I went out that I forgot my wallet, too, and hoped that they didn't card me.

My husband is like you. He's also 30 and looks much younger without his goatee, which is why he keeps it.

I don't mind if they card me. It's their job. I got it more in Michigan than Ohio, but the people would often ask for my birthdate, as they looked at my license. I guess that makes sense. Even though we're in a Detroit suburb and Toledo is just an hour or so away, they probably don't get many Ohio cards. (We're only here for a year and are moving back in August.)

I hope my rambling has helped.

I suppose at different times in your life you want to look younger or older then you really are. I just turned 18 and some people say I look 15/16 but it doesnt bother me because when I'm really old I'll hopefully look younger than my peers, which will be great! Don't worry about it!

I personally want to look more stressed out, why?
Because if your a scientist and you have gray hair along with alot of wrinkles you look more intelligent and experience. But I only have a few gray hairs, and a huge bag under my eyes, but Im only 13 so what can I do?

But I reccomend for you to look young, even though they check your id, I heard that it allows more people to think better of you (in laymans terms getting ch1ck5)

But old if you want to look experienced like I do

Its just personal prefrence, no one here can answer that for you.

You dont seem large youthful and in case you have been on the streets and that i peeked at you, i does no longer think of you have been under 18 i could think of you have been around 20ish. and that i'm marvel you desire to look older reason you may desire to benefit from the time the place you easily seem youthful reason while your 30 you would be like NOOO i desire to look youthful back! So benefit from the 2d

Your "language" sounds like 15. Nothing to do with looks, just the way you like express yourself.

I would prefer to look like younger.
