Those are two of my favorite books, what're your opinions on them? Oh and, what do you think about that Max Ride commercial? [if you've seen it] Another thing, what do you think about Avalon High being turned into a manga?

Love the Max Ride commercial. I've only read the first in the series, I liked it. I kind of thought Max was written as older than her stated age--that was my only issue.

Haven't gotten to Avalon High yet--it looks good. I think it's fascinating that it's becoming a manga.

Honestly, I liked Avalon High much better than Max Ride. Somehow, it jus wasn't right for me. The language was too simplistic and the conflicts too straightforward. I think it's cool that Avalon High's gettin turned into a manga. I hope it's done by someone really good though. I truly hate those pseudo translated Japanese manga that have awful spelling and unrealistic dialogue.

I haven't read the Maximum Ride books but I have read Avalon High and it was awesome! I really couldn't stop reading it! Uh, about the Manga idea.....I don't really think it would go with the story....the story is about Medieval Times and Manga is more.....action and modern. Nothing against Manga! I just think it wouldn't go with the story! =) x

The Maximum Ride books were written for a specific audience and that being young adults. It's really not heavy stuff so its easy to read. I've read them all and thinks that they're very entertaining. The story started with a book called "The Lake House" by Patterson. If you want to knwo how the Angels started read that one.

Avalon High was a great book because it mixed the hopes, fears and mistakes of modern-day teens while also entertwined the King Arthur story.
