does it stifle creativity?

In my university, we wear uniforms. guys are not permitted to have long hair. they have a prescribed haircut. Theyre not allowed to have a goatee or moustache too. Their face must be cleanly shaved. Girls should wear shoes with atleast 1 inch heel. Sandals, slippers and flat shoes (for girls) are not allowed.

In Wednesday, when we can wear civilian clothes, we cant wear sleeveless or skirts and pants just above the knee. Skirts and pants should reach below the knees. Cleavage, hips, waist should be hidden. And we should always wear the school ID. It should be visible or the security guards will confiscate our IDs. If we disregard the rules, we cannot enter the campus.

I dont like the uniform, it restricts movement. We all hate it.

why should they be in uniform? That has nothing to do with their creative energy! It may not stifle creativity but neither would it enhance it. Hence, no need in my opinion.
