I read Scar Tissue in about four days. I thought that Anthony Kiedis' story was intriguing. I thought it was shocking how his dad gave him drugs when he was only 11. And also how when Anthony asked his dad if he could have sex with his dad’s girlfriend when he was only 12, he let him. I thought it was exceptionally well-written, especially the way he was able to remember every single relationship he had ever been in right down to the very last detail. And the way he described what it was like to be completely addicted to drugs, how depressed and low he felt, and then he would stop and feel great, and then just get back into it again. His words greatly inspired me, and I felt like I was able to relate to him very much. At one point, he mentions that his high school English teacher thought that he could write very well. Which makes me wonder, did he really write Scar Tissue? Who is Larry Sloman? Did he help him write it or what?

My understanding is that they co-wrote it. My guess would be that Anthony dictated to larry what he wanted in there? Its an amazing book isnt it!
