I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to buy the little plastic things that hold the keys on a laptop keyboard. I ended up taking mine apart a few days ago and a few of those little plastic things broke so now my keys wont stay down?

I think you might need to send it in to the maufactorer and they should replace them for free...It may take up a week and a half though for fixing it.

Doubt the manufacturer will repair or replace it under warranty as it's not a fault caused by normal use.

Your best bet is to buy a replacement keyboard and replace the whole thing (or just cannibalise it for the bit you broke... but then you risk having two broken keyboards). On eBay you may find one - last time it cost me about £25 to buy a UK keyboard in place of the laptop's bilingual Russian/American one. Or try the manufacturers for a replacement, but it'll be a lot more expensive.

You can also just buy the keyboard from the manufacturer and replace it, saving yourself the downtime. I'm assuming, though, that if you're techical enough to remove the keys, you're technical enough to remove and replace a keyboard. On most laptops it *maybe* four screws.

You'll need to replace the entire keyboard. The good news is that they are usually pretty cheap $25 or so) and are supposedly designed for a user to be able to swap them out.
