Sexuality is a biological given, such that changing from gay to straight is as absurd as changing from straight to gay.

Focus on the Family was started by Homosexuals battling their desires to become straight. That group now supports legislation to take away rights and spreads misleading inaccurate information. They become a giant organization located in Colorado. Also do a search on Colorado Springs and Homosexuality and see what happens when people are try portray some thing they are not like the Rev. Ted Haggard. I dont know if you remember him from T.V. All those web sites are mostly religion driven, What you need look for is a web site in the field of sexual identity. Good luck!

Straight ppl turn gay all the time, (more women) especially after bad relationships, so maybe it is possible, but highly unlikely. You'd always be repressing something. That must be a hard thing to go through.

while I usually agree and respect the statements made by my friend Kedar-this time I would disagree.
I know for myself and 100's of others like me who were extremly sexual at a very early age who went on to discover in my case from a friend how wonderful it was to have a buddy one whom I could share all with plus the posssibility of intimacy.
In my elementary,jr. school, high school, college, I would discover 1000's of other conservative/religous/straights who also found this to be wonderful.
Most never returned to a totaly straight life, some did however with ease and success, still others became extreme in their sexuality going beyond being gay.
For myself well I havent since I was 27,and thats been 26 yrs ago, though I must admit my sanity is now at its edge.

Studies have shown repeatedly that truly gay people can't become straight, but they can be celibate or learn to have sex with the opposite sex, however they don't enjoy it really and they still are essentially gay. However, studies also show that bisexual people can choose to be straight: that's possible.

I have not, not any that stayed str8. I was in the ex-gay movement when I was younger. I am not proud of that fact. No matter how much a prayed, fasted, and asked for forgiveness I could not shake my affection for men. I finally, a year or so later, decided that I am who I am, and now I am so very proud to be gay, and wouldn't change it if I could.
If you really want to, look for ex-gay centers, usually through a church.

Personally... I think that's impossible. If you are gay then you are gay. And if you turn straight then you probably weren't gay to begin with, maybe just trying stuff out.

first of all im gay and i like being gay but if your realy intent on not being your self go to your doctor and ask for testosteron pills . it sounds realy bad but being atracted to the same sex is an imbalance of chemicals in you body. personaly i like my imbalance and im cofortabel with it but you could find a homa-fobe docter and ask him to help you,if thats what you realy whant.
