I can't even remember the last time I received a two dollar bill, and it's been about three years since I received a fifty cent piece in change. It surprised the heck out of me.

Wow that would have been about 3 years ago when I was still in the states, seeings as there is no two dollar bill here in Canada.... got those loonies and toonies...

wow, my grandpa use to give me 50 pieces, i still have some of em.
my papa (different one) gave us all a 2 dollar bill for Christmas in a card 3 years ago...still have that one too!

We don't have two dollar bills here anymore, but I get 50c pieces all the time, I have a can of them in my wardrobe.... I give them to charity collectors who come knocking... and every so often I take a load to the bank.

It's been quite awhile. But I actually found a dollar coin on the ground last month. It's a Sacajawea coin. I can't spell that right. Oh, according to spell check it is right.
