Well, if you believe in psychic abilities, like many people do, then one of the first premises you have to accept is that precognition (the ability to see the future) is just one subset of a great many different psychic abilities. The second premise to accept is that psychic abilities are another form of sensory input; indeed, a common term for them is the "sixth sense."
Once you accept that, it's not hard to understand the rest. Our senses, all of them, are easily fooled. We often see familiar faces in a stranger's profile, because our vision fills in what we expect to see; we hear a conversation in a completely different manner than the speaker intended. Why should psychic senses be any different? From a certain point of view, psychic senses should actually be easier to fool than normal senses, since they're so poorly understood, even by the people that possess them.
It's like being blind your whole life, then gaining sight and trying to explain the things you see to other blind people. You yourself may not understand what it is you're seeing, and if you've gotten used to this "new sense" working a certain way, you may not even understand that you're seeing anything at all. As a personal example, a tornado struck my home as a child. I was outside as it approached, and though I saw it clearly, I didn't understand what I was looking at; it was too big for me to comprehend, and no one had ever told me what a tornado was. An even like the September 11th bombings would have to be like that: huge, unimaginably huge, and thus nearly incomprehensible.
Of course, if one doesn't believe in psychic abilities, then no amount of anecdotal proof will change that, and answers like the previous one will seem like excuses instead of reasons. After all, there are an awful lot of fakes out there.

Good question!!!! Some things are not meant to be stopped. This may be hard for some people to comprehend. God has a divine plan and no one can interfere. If it was meant to be stopped then surely out of all the psychic's in the world 1or2 could have warned. Alot of people dreamed of fire and explosions the night before. Some things have to be so we can learn and understand from a spiritual perspective. When someone we know dies it makes us think and look to god with hope and faith that things will be ok. 9-11-2001 was no doubt a major tragedy but, not one soul was left behind. They all made it to the other side. America is now smarter. It's too bad we had to go through this to learn. GOD BLESS America. GOD BLESS ALL the families that lost thier family in 9/11 Blessings!!!

I know about bout a non psychic who predicted it... in part... he thought it would happen at montreal and durign september 10th.
Usually those who predict things are not acccurate. Even the prophets BC were just muttering. They have insights.
