That's rich. A conservative at a charity DINNER not seeing any liberals.
It's because while you're stuffing your face the liberals are actually doing the face to face work to support the poor, disabled and unfortunate.

And what particular charity events have you personally attended? Details please.
This "question" is rather vague to offer a responsible reply.
Personally, we have always made charities a "line item" in our home budget, and we prefer donating DIRECTLY to the charity, as opposed to just sending a check to an organization such as United Way, where at least 12% of it will be eaten-up by administrative costs.
Besides, delivering cash, check or actual items is much more personal and rewarding.

Well, first I can't believe that I am not bashing liberals
but I am a conservative that does not attend charity events.
My wife and I support several charities, sending donations
each month and we support an elderly woman in S. America.
The reason is that we like to know that our money goes
to what we want, I will also admit that all that we donate to
are Catholic.
I am sure that there are liberals that also donate to places
that they support. One of the persons that I work with is
very liberal but he an his wife have been to New Orleans
twice this year to voulenteer in rebuilding the area. They
pay for their own transportation and living expenses.

you're correct that you won't find liberals at your little 'events'...while conservatives are running around in their tuxedos patting themselves on the back for raising moolah for the local opera or art museum, liberals are doing stuff like helping habitat for humanity build houses, working at soup kitchens, caring for aids patients, mentoring at-risk kids...you know, doing the stuff to actually HELP those that NEED help...not making sure some fossilized old millionaire has an even plusher seat at the opera house to park his wizened old behind...so no, they're not practicing what they preach, but they ARE practicing what He preached...look it up

No I would qualify as a liberal and I would also attend a charity dinner and/or event. Do you know this to be true because you waste all your time at the party/dinner/event asking about political standing?

I've never been to a charity dinner, but I contribute to quite a few charities. Maybe like me, some people don't need to receive anything in return (like a dinner or event) in order to be generous.

Depends on the charity :
Communists will give to Research on Fetal Stem Cells.
Communists will give to an anti - Nuclear Power group like Green Peace.
Communists will give to Planned Parenthood, to help pay for Convince Abortions.
Communists will give to ACLU.
Communists will give to NEA.
Communists will give to other Communists.

Hmm.. they must not all be wearing their "Hi! I'm a Liberal!" nametags... talk about lazy.
I suspect rather you're going to fund-raisers for non-liberal issues, but hey, could just be me.
