Trade Griffey for some bullpen help. The offense isn't great but is good enough and if Bronson and Bailey can get on track the rotation is decent too. That leaves one giant weakness, the worst bullpen in MLB. They have no true closer, which cripples the bullpen when guys can't fit into a predetermined role. I'd hang onto Dunn since he's still fairly young, but Griffey needs to go because he's old and would still bring in a lot of young talent. There are a lot or good outfielders entering free agency after this season so the Reds could make a run at one of them to add to Dunn and Hamilton to form a pretty good OF without Griffey. They need to give up on this season and build for the future.

There is no quick fix. The have the worst record in MLB and they have to rebuild from the ground up, and this is going to take time. I would keep Griffey throughout this process as he would be the best bet to encourage the young players coming along. Forget the free agent market and concentrate on the farm system and prospects.

trade every star they got to get top prospect's for them fire every 1 from top to bottom hire manager's that know's how to develop young player's hire a top notch general manager get the best talent scout's money can buy and rebuild.
if these thing's are done right you can have a competitive team in 4 or 5 year's.

Trade Griffey.
Get prospects,
Get a manager who actully wins games.
And then bring back Bench, and Sr.

they need to trade ken griffey jr. so they can build for da future because now they suck like the pirates (but worse) and ihtink they should forfeit the rest of the season to get even more embarresed
