What is it doing in there? I would find your Mom and make her kill it. that's what I have always done (with spiders). ;-) and now I make the boyfriend do it.

It's perfectly natural to be scared of roaches. I am too. you cant kill the thing because they last up to 5 days without their head. i suggest you trap it and let it go outside. put a cup over it a nd slip a peice of paper under the cup then release the bug outside.

go to the drawer with a very poisonous chemical like bleach or roach killer and spray it on the roach if it is there then step on it cuz you are a lot bigger and smarter than it

I've never really seen a roach but can't you just squish it with something? I know they don't bite. But I know how you feel we have a problem with centipedes and one of them ran over my bare foot yesterday and I didn't want to even step on the floor.

If you have a can of air (used to clean the inside of a PC) you can use that to freeze the roach until it's dead. Or just frozen. Then it'll just crunch and be dead forever. And it can't do anything to you.
Just be lucky it ain't a scorpion.

wait till it flies away then you get back to your drawer later.
Do be shy, we all are afraid of roaches eventhough they seem more afraid of us.
I'll kill and slam a roach to death if i'm holding a broom or wearing shoes.

Fear is hardly ever rational. We fear those critters simply because we have a vague notion that they, or their bite, can be poisonous, or that they spread diseases. Or maybe because they're plain ugly.
I think the fear instincts have good logic behind them. Anything that *might* harm you is something you've evolved to be afraid of. But some modern human fears are completely irrational. Once you know you shouldn't be scared of something, you shouldn't. Isn't it?

First thing is to keep your house clean and not leave any food uncovered. Put down some boric acid, take your trash every eveing, wash all dishes, don't leave water in sinks but the main thing in clean, clean, clean!
