Sooo when I was a little girl I wished for boobs...and they sure as hell came. They wouldn't stop growing, and now I'm eighteen years old and I'm teetering between a DD and an E. Luckily they fit me since I'm 5'11'', but I'm getting breast reduction anyway this summer, and I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there who had had it done and wouldn't mind sharing their experience with me as far as scarring/healing went. Even if there are some of you out there who had friends who had it done, I'd really like to hear about it if you'll share. I'm really scared and don't know what to expect!

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Breast reduction surgery is rather popular, as it is the 5th most common reconstructive surgery that people have done. You can be a candidate for this procedure if you are in good health and have controlled diabetes, asthma, bleeding disorders, or heart conditions!

To become more comfortable with this procedure you should do alot of research on it. The knowledge will help set you at ease but will also help you direct the proper questions to your doctor. I had my surgery Feb 2006 and my scars are barely noticeable. A good surgeon and great after care treatments helped with the scars to fade. Mederma and scarguard are excellent!

I was out of work two weeks, back to full strength in a month or two.

I got my final size within six months and nipple sensation back in three months (though with some women it takes over a year).

The key word in this recovery is PATIENCE. If you have ANY questions, especially with after care, you NEED to ask your doctor as many different doctors have different ways to treat you.

It is so worth it, I don't regret it one bit!

As long as you don't use the same tubes, bottles and shields and only use the pump itself then it is fine! The pump is only used for the air and the suction it doesn't run through the pump itself. Plus buying the tubes and shields isn't that expensive at all! Besides what do you think the hospital does when you pump in there? They sure don't go out and buy new ones for parents all the time, they just buy the tubes, shields, and bottles.
