I currently have a Yamaha jog CE50E and would like some info on it ie history/pictures and possible source for manual. Most scooter sites omit this particular piece and have only been able to find one pic.

I couldn't find your model on Yamaha's Online Technical Manuals Store. The only Jogs they have listed between 1983 and 1988 are the CE50S and CE50T, and the Service and Owner's manuals for both are either discontinued or out of stock.

Jack's Scooter shop has a listing of all the manuals, plus a scan of the original four page sales brochure about the Jog. There's pictures of a scooter in there, not sure if it's yours.

He also has maintenance information from the factory service manuals

The Jog by Yamaha is a darn good scooter, I used to have one and it pretty much out ran all the other 50cc scoots. Don't know where there might be more info, it's old.
