i don't understand what to do if a formula has the word floor in it. What do I put there?

The term floor usually means the same thing as minimum. If it makes sense in the context of what you are doing.

By definition, the floor (also known as the "greatest integer" function) is essentially the same as rounding down to the nearest integer.

floor(5.5) = 5
floor(&pi) = 3

And for negative numbers,

floor(-1.5) = -2
floor(-4.00001) = -5

The floor of a whole number is itself.

floor(10) = 10
floor(383) = 383
