I need an account to put away money that can not be touched by the goverment. Where they can't touch it if I file BK or owe the IRS or state.

I need an account can not be touched, is there any such accounts? Or at the end will I have to open one in my son's name?

Humm, I think I mis wrote question. I just would like to save money like an IRA, but I do owe the State money. I am wondering will i still be able to put money away and it not be taken from me. I am going to work out a repayment plan hopefully with the state.

Just need to know at any point can they freeze an IRA, CD take the funds out of the account.

Out of country/offshore. The account can be frozen if you are a signer on it, or even if they suspect you are using the account to make deposits. Try a home safe.
They are relentless about these issues, may be better to get with them and negotiate.

What you are asking is wrong for me to answer. Ask a Lawyer.
