I couldn't leave the tv! I kept checking for updates, and cried every time they showed her mom! I can't believe it was so long ago- I wonder how she is now?

Yes, I do, and I couldn't believe the ridiculousness of it. She was two for Pete's sake and everyone was treating her trashy parents like victims. Where the hell were they when she was wandering around alone? I don't know about you folks, but when my kids were two they were never out of my sight, unless in bed asleep, especially when outside.
The major news event they made of it was also ridiculous when the event is compared to the major carnage that was and is going on all over the world. But I guess most people are so desensitized that they need the vicarious emotions provided by such coverage.

Yeah, I remember that. In fact, they had Baby Jessica on Good Morning America (I think or Today) and she is all grown up. I do however, believe that she lost some brain cells. I could not believe her answers to Qs.. Jimmy Kimmel was cranking on her!
