Yes. It is time that the media stopped its love affair with Diana Spencer. She and Dodi were killed in a car crash, that could have been prevented if they had not been playing games, and she had been playing the whore for years. So good riddance as she spent most of her time trying to destroy the Royal family. I still think that Charles should have been allowed to marry Camilla in the 70's. I can see the whole thing playing out again with William in the future.

I don't think it was a waste of time and money because of what it has done for charity.
However, it did reek of the usual over-inflated egos jumping on the band wagon. With well rehersed answers "oh, yes. Diana has been a huge influence on my music" Bollocks! Diana was a great person who did alot to help others but some people need to learn not to use her and the event as a way to gain publicity and further their career.
The event was a good idea and Diana should be remembered, but we should do it in the right way.

No of course not, Diana was a much loved person, she touched so many people from Aids suffers to children who lost limbs in war torn countries, she was the best thing to happen to the royal family in a long time she made the royals human, and it was a lovely way in which the princes could celebrate her birthday and help the many charities that she surported,i understand not everyone think the same, but i for one enjoyed the event and it so nice to see the princes enjoying them self with the people of this country.

how was it a waste of money? all the stars done the concert for free and the money made is going to charities, i think your a very nasty person theres pplout there less unfortunate than others who without the help of charities wouldnt have a life or even died before now your very heartless, and i think harry and william would be very upset by your disrespect, it was a birthday party for there mother? i think that if you lost your mum at such a young age and you were able to do something like that for her you would or maybe not? maybe it just boils down to the fact that diana was very much loved by alot of ppl and your jealous as you will never have that much love and respect.

What an awful thing to say....respect the dead.
Diana was a wonderful women. She changed the face of royalty forever. She made them look like more than selfish and conceited. Most royalty sit on their asses and do nothing....most have no power anyway. Diana DID something for others and that took a selflessness

No it wasnt
It was a way for Harry and William to celibrate thier mums birthday and raise money for charities at the same time.
Princess Diane restored my faith in people, people like you dont.
She was the only one in the royal family apart from her Sons of any use.
I think her sons done her proud.
I dont have any time for the royal family, except for Diana, William and Harry. I wish I was able to achieve a fraction of what they have done

No i thought i was ok, it suffered with the same as any live show, which cant be help. i.e. delays between acts, but other than that, i thought i was a good show, plus it raised awareness for Diana's charities, and it was a good thing for her sons to do in memory of their mum, I cant see what you problem is with it.

It raised money for charity and did no-one any harm so no it wasn't. The fact that I thought it dull and full of show-bizz gush and sentimentality doesn't detract from the basic fact that it was a fundraiser.

yes...i think that people can still help and champion the late princesses causes but really, it was just a way to "be seen doing something good"
it could have been a private concert if it had to be done at all

Quite frankly people will turn up for anything, at the end of the day it was just a pop concert and whether it was for Diana or the Cleopatra people would turn up.
