im tan and i really like a swim suit it comes in red and black i really like the red but i heard the color makes one appear smaller in size is that true?

Black will make you look smaller, but not if it's a little two piece bathing suit. If that's the case, the color won't matter.

I think darker colors make you look smaller, yes but why don't
you go ahead and just get way ahead of your self and start wondering how you can improve on your inside a bit more and concern your self a little less with the out side. And I really mean this in a positive way, not mean.

the color black make you appear smaller because it's harder to see the shadows that appear from your body on black. if people can't see the shape of your body properly, then it's harder to tell if you have an odd shape or a large body.

yes but i dont know if its true with swim suits unless its a 1 piece I dont know how that works though

Usually it doesn't matter, but in some people, they get all freaked out by it. As long as you try it on, and don't look anorexic or anything, it should be ok. Who wants to look fat anyways???
