We are planning a trip to Sea World San Antonio (which has a water park, Lost Lagoon) and we're also going to Six Flags over Texas in Arlington which has a water park next door(Herricane Harbor), in a couple of weeks. The price is about the same, which water park is worth staying an extra day for? I've also heard that water parks are unclean and gross.. is that true of these parks? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

sea world's water park is TINY!! compared to hurricane harbor...plus if you're in arlington for a few days, i think you get discounts on regular six flags tickets with the ticket stub from hurricane harbor...
at least thats how it was last time i went...

Of the two, SF Hurricane Harbor's the better park. It's got the Black Hole and some other fun rides.
However, Schlitterbahn is by far the best waterpark, perhaps in the world, let alone the country. Luckily for you it's located in New Braunfels, between San Antonio and Dallas (closer to San Antonio).
Schlitterbahn has rides galore including a lazy river which can take 30+ min just to ride once (yes, it's THAT LONG!)
It also has several water coasters, including the world's first, Master Blaster. There are several sections to this park and for one section, you pick a tube to call your own and basically use it wherever you want.
In the other section (Blastenhoff/Surfenberg), there's tubes, etc there for you to use on each ride. There's also a boogie bahn ride, where you can try your hand at riding a boogie board!
As for the parks you mentioned. Sea World's pretty neat, as it was some interesting sections as well as some roller coasters at the park. Their waterpark is small.
I guess it all depends on what you're after. If it's a waterpark, Schlitterbahn IS the best by far. Spend two days there rather than visit either of the other parks. It's that good!
If it's fun/rides, etc, then do SF Fiesta TX (best shows in country too) and SF over Texas.

Six Flags large journey in New Jersey it has a safari topic park prevalent topic park with the worlds greatest curler coaster and a waterpark the place in case you have a sixflags season bypass you will get into all 3 with that cost ticket
