My bf and I have been together 8 months and are doing wonderful. He tells me all the time i'm someone he could see himself with for life.... I'm 24 he's 23.
I watched a show about vegas weddings and playfully he says lets go get married. I say smiling and laughing OK meet you there! Later, he's asking me different scenarios and what would i do if x y and z was going on in his life, would I be there by his side and i'm answering accordingly to the situation. he makes a comment that i'm so good to him and when i try to respond, he blurts out "can I ask you something serious?" I say yes. There's a long pause and I get nervous. He says " Depsite how long we've known each other if I asked you to marry me right now what would you say?" I told him I would say yes and he asked would I have to think about it. I say no. I asked him would he consider popping the Q he says deffinetly if he's asking me about it.
Do you think the marriage gears are turning in his head? what does this mean?

Duhhh,
Yes, the boy is in love. However, it seems he has low self esteam and needs you to reassure him of your feelings and love for him.
Sounds scared. I bet it took him a long time just to ask you out before he had the nerve.

No. Hopefully he'll be smart enough to realize the two of you haven't been together long enough - you need at least 18 months to two years to get to know each other well enough, as well as one another's families.

yes sounds like it sounds like he just wants to be sure before he decides and is also trying out different scenerios but he sounds serious with you . and of courses a guy likes to feel out the situation too no one wants to propose only to be shocked and turned down.

there is two things here-either he is seriously considering it, or he is playing about it
its all a matter of the heart, and this helped me about my heart=this is what helped me learn my lessons=the door of your heart-to be your best friend
this helped me=true love-help from above =it will work the door to your heart=Revelation 1:1 chapter 1 verse 1 and chapter 3:19&20 I love you and knock on your heart door to come in deliver from sin and be your friend, when you ask me in." Jesus words =think of the future too
when its real and in honor-called marriage for the future and living in honor till then. "In marriage the bed is undefiled, but the others will be judged." Hebrews 13 in that chapter is also the promise once we let Jesus into our heart "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." verse 5
this is what got me self control=I have had the best of everything in life (I thought) till I came to Jesus and learned the joy of life, in salvation and renewal, praying for you, -and I am just a messenger in Jesus amazing grace (John 3rd chapter) repented of my sins, even one lie and let Jesus in to help and be my friend-and if you wont listen to Jesus-please understand there is nothing I can do to help thee prince. it sure worked for me, =Jesus is the one to comfort you and to give you help to commit in a relationship, in Jesus amazing grace, John 3rd chapter repented of my sins,even one lie, and let Jesus in to be my friend, amen.

it could be marriage gears and it could be what can I get away with gears. how much you are into him gears, he might be trying to ask you for a 3some. with one of your friends. who knows what he is up to. we aren't psychics. duh..............
