It doesn't have an experation date on it but the bottle looks like its about 7 years old. I want to put some on my sunburn to try and take away some of the pain.

I don't think it would be any good if it's that old. Sun block lotion is only good when you go out in the sun. You need something else to take the pain away. Check with your pharmacy for that.

You could call the manufacturer to see how long the lotion is good. they usually have an 800 number on the bottle. Tell them there is no expiration date on the bottle.

Yes. Even a year makes a different. The sun screen does not have a long shelf life.

Use aloe vera or a regular lotion afterwards, lidocaine can help too.

prolly but it may still work. it likely won't kill you and if it does no worries about pain...

usually with heat and time chemicals will loose their potency and some structure for various reasons.

if you do try a little on a small area first wait about 30 minutes and if there is no reaction try more/

About a year...you can usually stretch it for another 6-12 months but 7yrs...toss it...you could have an allergic reaction from the chemicals...get some new stuff...there are terrific things out on the market today...
