no because the head of the household is usually the woman and her husband is her equal partner. so they should all get same size pieces.

I'm the head of our household and I do get the biggest piece, but not because I'm the head. I'm just the biggest eater. I don't see why I should get the biggest piece for being the head. I feel privileged to serve my family and to love them. I always am trying to teach my child to put others first. To always be demanding the biggest slice of the pie would be to teach him something quite different.

I just go with the person that eats the most gets the bigger piece.... because there is no head of the household in the house , I pay the bills, and he buys the groceries,I do the dishes and he does the cooking, he brings us out on the town
any fun stuff....half and half...I don't eat much so he always gets the bigger piece....=-)

I like to make sure everyone has enough to eat. There is always plenty of other stuff on the table to fill up with. The meat isn't always the best thing for you anyway. Forget that biggest piece of meat and have some potatoes.

No, the head of the household could be a vegetarian.

Not necessarly. The person who cooked the meal should get the biggest piece and if it wasn't cooked by anyone eating then it should go to the one who paid for it or went and got it. Its only fair.

Well, I am the head of my household but I always give the biggest serving to my husband....... so I would have to say no to your question.
