Do not worry. This could be due to changes in hormones, increased exercise, diet, stress any many things. I skipped 3 months due to stress. If you miss your menstrual period, it could be because of some change in your body or in your life. If you are under stress, you've been sick, or you've lost weight, you may skip a menstrual period. It is common to skip a menstrual period once in a while, especially during the first year that you are getting it. But if you are having unprotected sexual intercourse or close sexual contact, or if your birth control method has failed. If you skip several menstrual periods, you should talk to your health care provider and see why this is happening.

Could be from stress, change in eating habits or exersice. Possible that your hormones maybe a little off also. Your age and if you are always regular may have something to do with it. Sometimes the obgyn's put girls on birthcontrol even though they are not sexually active just to regulate their cycle. You should see a doctor though to make sure everything is ok. good luck

It is one of the signs of a hormonal disbalance. It can also be a result of a bad stress or a climate change if you traveled recently and had changed you timezone or the climate. It also can be a result of being overweight.
After checking you doctor will prescribe you the appropriate hormonal therapy, usually they prescribe birth controls. But I would definitely see a doctor because it can bring to the bigger problems, including infertility
