1. Trash. Throw away everything that needs to be thrown away.
2. Laundry, this can be going for the rest of the time. Don't forget bed linen.
3. Put everything away that has been left out.
4. Wipe down all surfaces & dust.
5. Clean Kitchen
6. Clean bathrooms
7. Vacuum, sweep and mop as necessary.
8. Put away all the laundry
9. Make bed(s)
Should be mostly done.
Take a good look around and see what you have forgotten.
The trick to keeping a house clean...
At the end of each day:
-put away everything that has been left out
-take out trash
-keep your dishes done.
...in short leave it looking like it did when you woke up.
then do all the other stuff a little each day, or set one day a week aside to do chores. If you have been keeping up on the house it usually only takes an hour or two to get it to look spotless for the rest of the week.

Kitchen, Bathrooms, then dusting and windows and vaccuum last. Start at one end and work your way over to the other. Don't answer the phones or the door and don't sort through piles of paper (that is organizing not cleaning)
Cleaning like it is someone else's house is the fastest way

Hi, I would say hire a house maid or two that you know are fast
and honest. Not sure how much money you have, but if you don't have a lot of money have your boy friend help you, or husband. I'm sure that if you ask them in the right way they would be more than happy to help you.
Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

clean like floor clean or clean like clean house??
floor clean:
shove everything into bags and stuff them in the basement.
clean house:
straighten everything out on shelves and stuff to make room for other stuff. Do it very quickly.
PS:this isn't very fast, but cleaning the windows makes the house seem a lot brighter and friendlier!

Put all the dirty clothes in the closet, all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, all the clutter on the shelves in drawers. Wipe down the stove, do a quick vacuum job, and make your bed, now you're done.

Do it right, the way you want it, yourself! Start small & slowly build your willpower. No fancy methods, books or whatever. Remember, any willpower you gain, is yours to keep forever & use again maybe to lose weight or any other worthwhile challenge. I think we all need help, but raise your sheild and dive into battle, best wishes!

Move. I'm joking but you have a clean house after you put your things away.

Hide everything under the couch (at least the stuff that will fit), in a closet, or a bedroom (or a room that isn't being used).
