I currently take two excedrin migraine pills each morning to prevent ongoing headaches that I used to have often. Is there is any natural alternative or pill that is close to the equvilant of the excedrin? I am trying not to damage my body with the aspirin and other ingredients in the pill

I get headaches all the time and i have found that some days if i wait they do go away. It depends on the cause. I know that my breathing is not so great at night. Also I need to drink lots of water when i have one or they get unbearable. so dehydration is a key.

For those reasons I dont take anything for the first half hour after waking up. Even if the pain is blinding

Occasionally however I find the very medicin itself is causing a chemical headache. taking more only makes it worse.

on mild headaches I have found that peppermint gum or other peppermint candies really improve matters. I havent found a natural cure that is effective on severe pain

good luck

The question I have for you is: Do you drink coffee regularly? If not, then I suggest that whenever you have a headache, drink a cup of black coffee, no milk or sugar, just plain black coffee. I used to get headaches regularly which were pretty horrific and the black coffee remedy always did the trick. I believe this is because the caffeine acts like Excedrin. No actually there is caffeine in Excedrin so maybe the coffee all by itself will help. Try it and see for yourself.

As a fellow mirgraine sufferer I have found How I sleep can effect when I get them. I also get them because of stress, and when I'm angry. or spend excessive time on the computer.
but the biggest difference came when I limited the amount of caffine I drink each day, and NO CAFFINE after 5 pm.

other suggestions you can try.
Suggestion one.
Visit Massagewarehouse.com
look into the nelly packs for eyes, and neck. and lavender essencial oil.

make the pack cold. and dab the oil on them then lay in bed for 15 to 30 minutes. flat on your back.

Suggestion two
Try a theraputic massage, especially a therapist who can share deep tissue work, or deep swedish massage, with essencial oils. Lavender is reccommended.

Suggest 3
take up yoga, daily.
very relaxing,

Best sugestion was my treatment.,

I did all three,. =) I get a massage about once / month and use the nelly packs as needed. while the Yoga helps stretch tired and stressed muscles.

Hope this helps.

Yes!

About two weeks ago, a man told me about his wife's severe migraines. They were on vacation, but she was in bed, looking pale and vomiting.

A woman they were with offered her a product called Sinus Busters for migraines. But the victim was reluctant saying she'd tried a lot of things but nothing would put a dent in her headaches.

In response, the lady said that she'd given the product to four other people and each had the same results.

So the migraine sufferer gave in and tried it. Her migraine disappeared instantly. In twenty minutes she was dressed and had joined the others, able to participate with no migraine.

Sinus Busters has more than one product by the same name, so if you decide to get it, be sure to get the migraine product, if it is migraines that you get. (Many people say they have a migraine, but it's just a bad headache. For instance,
cluster headaches are just as painful if not more so.)

There are several natural alternative to headache. You may want to try Reiki, lavender oil, or the herb Feverfew. Feverfew is an awesome herb for migranes.
For more information, visit my website, http://www.self-healingexpressions.com
It will give you information on how to make your own herbal tea from the whole or dried herb. You don't want to use the store bought teas as they contain very little of the herbs medicinal properties.
Hope this helps

"Involved in more than 325 biochemical reactions, some of the early symptoms of magnesium deficiency include body aches, chronic constipation, headaches and migraines, insulin resistance, PMS, leg cramps, muscle twitches, and more. Left untreated, a magnesium deficiency can lead to more life-threatening conditions such as heart disease, hypertension, stroke, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and others."

I am going to try Sinus Busters, too, for my daughter. A friend at work said his adult daughter used this, and she does not have headaches, anymore. I don't know what is does, or if it will work, but worth a try. Products with caffiene in them give you rebound headaches, which means that you just keep getting more headaches by using the things with this in them - not too good.
