I've been searching the web to find a mythbusters type of site to help answer some of the crazy myths I've heard about pregnancy/STD prevention.

What's the craziest thing you've heard to date?
Do you any resources that lists these myths and busts them for those who are unaware?

:) Jumping backwards five times at sunrise the morning after sex. LOL.
Oh, and you can't get pregnant if you pee immediately afterwards, I've always loved that one.
And a common myth of course that yahoo answers makes me more and more aware to every day is that people think you cannot get pregnant if you do not ejaculate or the female does not orgasm. ???? LOL

I don't know if this is a myth or just what people really truly did back in the roman days, but women who didn't want to become pregnant would hop off the bed, spread their legs and make themselves sneeze so all of the semen would come out. I watched it on some late night discovery channel thing (majorly weird). Also on that show they also talked about how women would use certain kinds of flower petals and crush them up and then put them in their vagina as a prevention of conceiving. Like I said I don't know if it really worked or not but I'm not about to try it lol

You can't avoid pregnancy by:
Douching with water, cola or any fluid.
Inserting aspirins into the vagina before or after sex.
Jumping up and down after sex.
Urinating afterwards.
Sneezing after sex.
Having intercourse standing up or upside down.

Unsolved myths

The Venus Butterfly

The Venus Butterfly is hinted at as not being intercourse but can supposedly, when practiced, cause hour long orgasms, hundreds of orgasms and multiple contractions in both women and in men, among many other things. Is this myth just an old urban legend, or does it really exist?

"What is the Venus Butterfly?" The venus butterfly is a form of manual stimulation where the hands are used to stimulate the woman's anus, clitoris, and G-spot all at the same time.

You can't get pregnant if having sex while standing up.

You can't get pregnant the first time (yes, well, I busted that myth personally).
