Why do all the major cable news networks repeat the same stories every 15 minutes?

Because there are no new news or stories, so they keep on repeating it, besides since it a live broadcast, they can't stop..and say heii people, wait for while..and we'll be back when something new happens!..lol..

The assumption is that not all the viewers were able the catch the news the first time it aired. That is why cable news networks repeat the same stories.

Also, there are also so much news that happen in a day that's why the repeat.
