Question everything but doubt nothing.
Belief can be as detrimental to the search for truth as doubt. We all have both.
When I do not know the truth and need the truth, I must put both of these aside to learn the truth.
Once I get new truth my mind wants to create new beliefs and with new beliefs come new doubts.
I seek to be open to all truths. To not let my humaness of belief, doubt, perceptions, understanding, etc etc interfere.
Open and Closed systems is an awesome way to approach life and remain open to all truths. Closed systems deteriorate with their doubts and beliefs. Open systems are limitless with their opportunities and doubt nothing.

Good question! I was raised with a strict biblical foundation. Then I got out on my own, started questioning my teachings and started looking elsewhere for the other religions perspectives. Doubt was an understatement! I got hooked on the studies in this area. It was fun! I came to a conclusion, sort of closure on the subject, and feel very fortunate for the doubt that I had. I get the finger pointed at me by many Christians (not "that" finger) saying I should never have doubted. Phooey! Even the Bible says seek wisdom, not just biblical wisdom either! So for me, doubt is a positive thing! No, that doesn't make me up beat and bubbly! (inside joke folks)

Doubt becomes an obstacle meaning something dificult to get around when there is basis in that doubt which contradicts the (truth) making it difficult to believe it is fact.

A paradox is merely holding two beliefs that appear to be in conflict. Resolving one or both of the beliefs resolves the paradox.

Doubt doesn't enter the equation, only that one of the beliefs is being chosen over the other.

When you lose faith in yourself the reality is the truth no longer matters. Depression leads one into desperation and there nothing but doubt can rule.

Never. We prove by failing to disprove... I doubt I thought of that though, I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere.

One man's boulder is another man' stepping stone.
If you ask no questions there are nothing but contradictions.
Truth will never be found by those who have no doubts.
