this question reminds me of office space. i love that movie.

in college, i always went above and beyond. in my personal life, i do the bare minimum. it's one way that i'm self destructive. i'm always told that i should spend more money on myself. i enjoy buying gifts for my family and friends. i rarely buy anything for my enjoyment. frankly, i don't think i deserve it. it's something that i definitely need to work on.

Depends on what it is.
When I was in school... yes, unfortunately I did.
Bare minimum studying for a test, writing a paper (If it's 5-8 pages, I'm writing 5 pages and one sentence).

If it's doing a favor for a friend, or buying christmas gifts for my family, then I will go way beyond.
